Terms And Conditions
All events require a NON refundable £120 deposit on booking, the deposit can not be transferred.
Events over £1000 a 50% deposit is required.
If you want to move your date for any reason then this is the same as the cancelation policy below.
Cancelling an event 72 hours or less; LaserTag 2U will NOT refund your event fees.
Cancelling an event between 72 hours - 10 days, LaserTag 2U will refund you 50% of the event fees. (Not including the deposit).
Cancelling an event 10 + days, LaserTag 2U will refund your event fees. (Not including the deposit).
100% of the total event fee must be received 10 days before the event.
If no payment has been provided by 31 days of the due date of payment there will be a late payment fee of £295. After the 62 days there will be a second late payment fee of £295. After the 90 days there will be a third late payment fee of £500 plus any legal fees.
We can provide one free consultation within 2 miles of HA6 the second consultation will be a fee from £45 (depending of location).
Extra charges for peak time may apply these will be on you invoice before the event.
Discounted quotes are only valid for 5 working days, after this we have the right to change the quote.
If the event is cancelled by LaserTag 2U for extreme weather or unforeseen circumstance we will refund all payments paid to LaserTag 2U only.
Before an event the group organiser will be asked to check and sign for any damaged equipment. If any damages or loss of equipment occur during the event you will be charged.
Equipment must be taken care of by the party, any damages you will be charged.
Players under the age of 6 years old are not permitted to play.
The client/organisation must take full control of any injuries and accidents during event. If the client/organisation is not at the event or near the activity they must provide someone over the ages of 18.
Laser Tag 2U staff will NOT perform or provide any first aid. This will need to be provided by the client/organisation.
Over 2 miles travel from HA6 to your event location LaserTag 2U will charge 55p per mile return trip.
LaserTag 2U is not liable for any damage to the ground surface cause by equipment that is sited.
All activities must be situated away from loud noise (including stages), as safety instructions must be given on all activities. Safety is paramount, and all participants must accept that the decision of the operator is final. No smoking, BBQs or fireworks may be near any activities.
The client is responsible to ensure that adequate parking is available for any delivering vehicles and that any parking permits are obtained prior to arrival. If this is not available upon arrival LaserTag 2U reserves the right to refuse set up or invoice retrospectively for any costs incurred parking or traveling to the event including congestion charge.
Loading and unloading will not take place unless our vehicles are parked legally.
The client is responsible for ensuring that any special licenses’ or permission for use of hired equipment are obtained.
Bookings can only take place on public or private land with the permission of the landowner. Evidence of this may be required. The exit route must be available to allow us to promptly leave an event. Any delay in leaving, may incur further charges.
On some occasions, photographs may be taken of people participating in the activity for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for photographs of you or anyone at your event to be used for marketing LaserTag 2U, please notify a member of the team.
Activities have to be suspended in the event of extreme weather conditions such as high winds (usually >25mph), thunderstorms and heavy rain. Our staff will be responsible for giving permission to restart activities when deemed safe to do so. In the event of inclement weather, full payment must still be paid.
If the client wishes to create their own event area, it is their responsibility for ensuring this is safe and that relevant insurance is in place for the arena.
Suitable footwear and clothing must be worn. No high heels or football boots may be worn. Anyone not following the operator’s instructions will be removed from the activity. (Laser Tag Events).
Please note that all persons using any of our equipment do so at their own risk. The client/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Use of smoke grenades will only be on private land and used by over 18s. Adults may only use the smoke grenades at their own risk.
LaserTag 2U cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment. The operator’s decision is final.
Covid – If there was a lockdown Laser Tag 2U can transfer your date or provide a refund not including the deposit. If there are government rules to limit the amount of players then Laser Tag 2U will either refund the difference not including the deposit or move the date. If someone in the party gets Covid and can not attend the party Laser Tag 2U can not provide any refunds or move the date. Please understand we are a small family business.
Card Payment – When booking your event/ party Laser Tag 2U will require a £120 card payment. Your details will be held until 10 days after the event/ party. If there are any outstanding payment such as extra players the customer will be automatically charged if not paid within 7 – 10 days.
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
This is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol. LaserTag 2U excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract and advice/Instructions given by operators.
